America First is a term coined by the greatest President of our generation. It is such a simple concept yet the meaning became blurry over the years. Most Americans believe in “America First” also known as “The American Dream,” but we forgot how great that could actually be. The system made it harder and harder to obtain.
The America First movement we experienced under President Trump was the revival of that dream before it was put to the grave for good.
Americans began to understand what it was like to win again.
To some, winning means that a husband can go to work and a wife can afford to stay home to raise babies into outstanding citizens. To others it means single parents can go to work and afford the very best caretakers/schools for their children. When they pick them up after a long work day they notice that despite their absence, the children are thriving. To most, it means laying your head down at night without worrying about war, famine, or the loss of individual liberty.
The traditional view of the American Dream means that no matter your race, background, or disposition, you as an individual can decide what you want your life to become, and then with hard work you make it happen. Despite the obstacles, the dream can become your reality, especially in America.
Americans got a taste of that again from 2017-2021. Now we’ve tasted it, and we want to keep it. This generation won’t forget what America First feels like so we will rise up and fight for it daily until it is deeply rooted in the fabric of our society.
Our nation was founded by those who sought religious liberty. America is a country blessed by God.
It is written in Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Our nation was sought under the pretext of freedom and it thrived because it was done according to Holy Law. Our fight to keep it must be done under that same Law that was put forth by God and sealed in Christ’s blood.
Lately it feels like we are living in a dystopian nightmare where Patriotism is perceived as terrorism. None of this feels real and that is because it is being orchestrated by the great deceiver. It only takes articles like these to make one realize that we are in the midst of a spiritual battle.
We are where we are today because the bulk of our nation forgot that to live on earth is to be engaged in a spiritual realm with principalities and powers that are beyond the comprehension of five senses. Modern day distractions have caused us to become spiritually dull and complacent in our understanding of God’s way and our ability to recognize the devil’s deceptions.
When immorality becomes righteous and God’s laws become offensive, a society is doomed to fail. We must ask forgiveness for allowing this to happen in the name of not offending anyone and move forward with boldness defending our righteous values. Only then will our actions prevail against the communist takeover we see in our state and our nation.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 To Whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for it I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Here in Virginia, we are at a precipice in the upcoming election. Those of us working hard for the American First movement know undoubtedly what is at stake for our state. Light verses darkness.
As we go forth each day let us look to serve our state and our country in some small way. Let us powerfully believe that in each action we take, whether as doable as a specific daily prayer or as selfless as going out and donating our spare time, we are blessed by God. Let us pray our Creator sees our work and will once again restore liberty and prosperity to Virginians.
America First for Virginia can only be achieved through our efforts and His grace. Thank you to all those who are serving.
